Dr. Zinberg is incredibly excited to be in Berks County. Originally from central New Jersey, Dr. Zinberg has had long ties to the Reading area after meeting his wife while they were studying at Muhlenberg College, where he received a B.S. in Biology. He then moved to Philadelphia, where he attended the Temple University School of Dentistry, ultimately graduating Summa Cum Laude and earning his D.M.D. degree. While studying at Temple Dental, Dr. Zinberg was actively involved in the Oral Surgery Honor Society, Dental Anesthesia Honor Society and Temple Haiti Club. He had the opportunity to travel to Haiti twice as a member of the outreach team, providing a variety of surgical services to the people in dire need of help. After finishing dental school, Dr. Zinberg continued his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, Delaware; acting as chief resident in his final year. While there he had the opportunity to take part in full-scope maxillofacial surgery; including oral surgical procedures, TMJ disorders, oral pathology, management of dentofacial discrepancies, office based anesthesia services and more.
Dr. Zinberg’s clinical interests include all facets of oral and maxillofacial surgery, especially oral pathology, maxillofacial trauma, dentoalveolar surgery including implants, and office based anesthesia. He is currently a member of the Reading Hospital medical staff. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and Delaware Valley Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Zinberg is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
In his time out of the office, Dr. Zinberg enjoys spending time with his wife, Lari, as well as friends and family. He also enjoys watching and participating in nearly all sports, skiing, and boating.
