DENTAL IMPLANT SURGERY WITH A SURGICAL GUIDE
Surgical guides fit to your teeth with guide holes for the implant. Guides allow the surgeon to make changes to plan during surgery if necessary. Guided surgery works by having the surgeon plan your procedure through multiple different implant planning softwares that our practice owns. The procedure is planned according to the CT scans that are taken, however, once the procedure is actually taking place, the surgeon has the freedom to make adjustments should he find that your bone quality or quantity is slightly different than what was represented in you CT. Not all implant patients need guided surgery, but it is an excellent tool that we have to use for specific situations.
