Dr. Zinberg received a B.S. in Biology at Muhlenberg College. He then moved to Philadelphia, where he attended the Temple University School of Dentistry, ultimately graduating Summa Cum Laude and earning his DMD degree.
While studying at Temple Dental, Dr. Zinberg was actively involved in the Oral Surgery Honor Society, Dental Anesthesia Honor Society and Temple Haiti Club. He had the opportunity to travel to Haiti twice as a member of the outreach team, providing a variety of surgical services to the people in dire need of care.
After completing dental school, Dr. Zinberg continued his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in the Christiana Care Health System in Wilmington, Delaware, acting as chief resident in his final year. While there, he had the opportunity to take part in full-scope maxillofacial surgery, including oral surgical procedures, TMJ disorders, oral pathology, management of dentofacial discrepancies, office based anesthesia services, and more.
Dr. Zinberg’s clinical interests include all facets of oral and maxillofacial surgery, especially dentoalveolar surgery including implants, office based anesthesia, oral pathology, and maxillofacial trauma. He is currently a member of the Reading Hospital medical staff. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Pennsylvania Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and Delaware Valley Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. Dr. Zinberg is Board-Certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a past president of the Berks County Dental Society.
Originally from central New Jersey, Dr. Zinberg has had long ties to the Reading area after meeting his wife while they were studying at Muhlenberg College. In his time out of the office, Dr. Zinberg is enjoying time with his wife and son, as well as friends and family. He also enjoys skiing, exercising, and reading.
