These include extractions, removal of impacted teeth, removal of cysts and tumors, preparation of the jaws for dentures and dental implants (including bone grafts and soft tissue grafts), placement of dental implants, treatment of TMJ (temporomandibular joint) problems, jaw revision or re-construction surgery (orthognatic surgery), exposure of impacted teeth for orthodontic purposes, repair of traumatic injuries to the jaws and face (including fractures and dislocations) and root end surgery (apicoectomy).
